The country was doomed the moment we let stupid people vote. The final nail was driven in when Senators were turned in to political demi-gods. The 14th and 17th amendments guaranteed the eventual destruction of the Republic. At this point it is probably too late to put the genie back in the bottle. The unwashed, dull, crude masses have learned they can vote into office scoundrels who will happily accept personal power and wealth to enact legislation giving the masses more and more free stuff until the treasure is dry and beyond any hope of recovery. The US is headed towards Third World status and eventual Balkanization. I wish I had a better handle on the time frame. One thing I have come to understand is the change is happening much faster than I thought just a few years ago.

I was voting for Romney as a vote against Obama. It would be a vote for my granddaughter. Cutest little 2 1/2 year old strawberry blond, blue eyed, huge smile, infectious laugh. We owe the future generation a properous America they can be proud of. Then Mitt picked Paul Ryan. Being a Wisconsinite I of course love Paul Ryan and the Packers. I also love beer, cheese and brats...and have the waistline to prove it. Then I watched Mitt speak. His words expressed a deep love of our great Country. And it’s not just his words, it’s the way he says them. He gets emotional speaking about our Country, our children’s future. Not the same robotic Mitt from the primaries. I am now voting R/R because I know in my heart it’s the right choice. Of course I will never agree with any politician 100%. It would be silly to assume a politician could be everything to everybody. What ever your reason for voting is - Get out and vote. Let’s send a message to the pretender in the White House it’s O(ver).
