What’s wrong with voting on election day? I just don’t understand the idiocy of standing on a five-hour line just to vote early.

This early voting crap is bad news and makes elections far closer than they need to be. I want the slackers to look at a line and go home for a joint instead.

Exactly. This year’s crap makes it obvious that voting should be done on Election Day only, with exception for absentee voting in certain, limited, situations. Opening up weeks of opportunity for democrats to do “vote hops” from polling place to polling place has got to stop.

I voted early a week ago and there was no line. I parked right by the door and walked right in, signed in, and voted, and was gone in ten minutes. I can't stand in a line, I wouldn't have been able to vote in person otherwise.

My wife will vote today and will have to leave work early and stand in a pretty long line.
