Worked in Beaumont on TDY basis for about 4 months several years ago and was very, very glad to leave. It truly is the Bowel of Texas.
They are the exception rather than the rule in Texas. But like any malignant tumor, liberalism, is spreading. They are influenced by outside forces such as music, tv, and fashion that denegrate America, rather than celebrate her. They aren’t being taught about the greatness and exceptionalism of America, and why it is so. The peace sign is everywhere, but nothing about freedom/liberty. Yet without freedom, peace is tyranny. Just look at North Korea, Cuba, Venezuela, China, etc. They have peace but no freedom. Nor have they learned to critically think, but then alot of folks haven’t.
