(FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) When police arrested Joel Santiago-Vazquez last year, they found a stash of powder and crack cocaine hidden in a false bottom of a Pringles potato chip can.
Police also found, according to their report, that federal immigration authorities had "no record of (his) entering the country". A detainer was issued, and Santiago-Vazquez became one more illegal immigrant caught in the crosshairs of the federal government.
But FOX Undercover found out something else about Santiago-Vazquez. He's been registered to vote from his home address in Lawrence since 2010.
Our investigation shows he's not the only registered voter in Lawrence who is not a citizen. By cross-checking Lawrence voter records with criminal records that included records indicating lack of citizenship, we found three others:

Those non-citizens were found in Colorado and Florida after secretaries of state there sued to force federal immigration authorities to check their states' voter rolls.
"Is Massachusetts making any effort to vet its list?" Beaudet asked her.
"No," Vaughan replied. "I haven't seen any effort on the part of officials in this state. In fact they seem to be more in denial that it could be a problem here." In other words illegals can vote without any worries..
IMO it’s inevitable that if you’re going to dish out government benefits to illegals, as we are doing, and you’re going to push a registration form on them, as we are doing, that many are going to be afraid of betraying their status by not completing the form.
The Dems know this and so it contributes to their deep and multivariate perpetration of voter fraud, but what’s with the GOP? Why haven’t they put up a fight? Because they are 1) personally compromised and blackmailable in too many cases, and 2) they’re not really on our side.
3) They then open themselves up to a hate campaign for *voter suppression*.
So they’ll go along with their own electoral murder?
They’re idiots if that’s their concern. Voter ID, etc., is strongly supported by the little people out here, no matter what state you’re in.
Where are the UN observers?
When I was a kid, my father that I only got to see for two weeks every two to three years, purchased a small cap-gun for me. We stopped in a toy-store in Hot Springs, Arkansas. I expressed an interest, and he bought it for me.
I was so proud of that thing. It was so real looking. It had a cowboy holster. It’s cylinder rotated just like a real gun. You could take the bullets out, slip off the shell casing, and place new round caps inside before putting the bullet together and administering more fantasy justice on the fantasy open range.
One day I loaned my gun out to the neighbor boy. He really liked it, and I wanted to be nice. When I got it back, it was broken. Useless...
We have been given a wonderful nation by our founding fathers. We don’t get to see them often enough. We are damned lucky to hear about them at all these days.
The Left in the United States will not be careful with our nation, when we loan it out to them. They will treat it with disrespect. And when they hand it back to us, it will be far less than what it was when they gained control of it.
As I kid, I accepted what took place. That was because I was a kid, and I realized that in the overall scheme of things, what I lost wasn’t as important as other things in life.
I am no longer a kid. There are no more important things than what we are losing these days. They are vital to everything we cherish, family, friends, our very existence.
I have long since grown weary of having our nation handed back in pieces. That needs to end.
F the Left.
Its Massachusetts, insanity runs deep.
The brazen refusal of government employees to do their jobs will result in something terrible that will ruin their lives or the lives of their children.
It’s amazing that they can’t see it.
Lawrence is a pit.
