Chicago Source: Obama Campaign Planning to Proclaim Early Victory to ‘Demoralize Romney Supporters’
The Blaze ^ | November 5, 2012 | Jason Howerton

Posted on 11/05/2012 10:19:33 AM PST by GonzoII

New York Times best-selling author Brad Thor, based in Chicago, tells TheBlaze that the Obama campaign may be planning to preemptively announce victory in the presidential election based on early voting numbers in an attempt to “demoralize Mitt Romney supporters.”

Citing a “very solid source” in Chicago, Thor says the Obama campaign is looking to make it appear to voters that they have “this thing sewed up and are less than 24 hours to victory,” according to his source.

Meanwhile, team Obama will also urge voters to get out and vote so they can say they were part of the important 2012 election that resulted in a second term for Obama.

While Thor can’t reveal his source, he told TheBlaze multiple times that the source is very reliable.

The flip side of the coin, the author explained, is that the Obama campaign is counting on the mainstream media to drive home their narrative should they implement this strategy.

“They are so invested in Obama,” Thor said of the media. “I don’t see how any truth loving person could look to the mainstream media ever again. This election should be the final nail in the coffin with the mainstream media.”

Why would the campaign resort to such a Chicago-style political tactic? According to Thor, it’s because their support is diminished across the board and they know they’re in trouble.

“Their support is down,” he told TheBlaze. “All the polling has been the exact same thing. They have been oversampling Democrats, and they are not getting the 2008 levels of voting.”

Whether or not the Obama campaign will set this plan into motion remains to be seen. As Thor points out, the plot could have been brought up but never considered seriously by the top officials in the campaign. If it is being considered though, the author hopes that all the attention forces the Obama camp to ditch the effort.

REMEMBER THE NEXT PRESIDENT WILL BE PLACING JUDGES

Actually the Senate will be placing the judges and the Dems may still be in control, or at least will filibuster any reasonable pick. If the RINO in chief in the Senate waffles we will have a few more closet socialists instead of conservatives. </Roberts>

Both sides in WWII tried bombing the civilian population into a pit of demoralization. It didn’t work the and it won’t now

Did you check with Germany or Japan on that issue?

Axelrod was already all over the airwaves today, proclaiming that Obama pretty much had the election in the bag and that Romney’s rally in Pennsylvania was a mark of “desperation” because the Romney campaign sees Ohio out of reach and they’re looking for another avenue to get the electoral votes they need to win.

Bullfeathers!

Go VOTE VOTE VOTE!!!!

When Obama loses the election,he undoubtedly will do his best to destroy our country as a lame duck. If he does try it, I hope someone in the SS will step in and ‘neutralize’ his efforts.

They will only begin to panic if Romney is beating their 3 percent CHEAT margin...

I think they realize they didn’t rig the polls in WI/MI/PA because they thought they had that sewn up and now they are sweating big time... Won’t it look funny when Rommney Sweeps WI/MI/PA but loses OH.... LOL

They tried that in 2004. Remember that skewed exit polls showed Kerry trouncing Bush all day long.

And ever since, libs have been accusing Bush of stealing the election because the exit polls showed Mr. “Do You Know I’m A War Hero” Kerry winning. If I recall, even Bush thought he lost because of the exit polls.

They will, no doubt whatsoever about it. I expect Pravda West to declare obama the winner by 4 pm tomorrow.

YES I remember, that was a bad vibe.

Probably one of the first indications the MSM had gone from bias to actual complicity.

By 2008 they were an integral part of the Obama campaign.

They want riots.

I'm inclined to agree that most of the Dems do want riots - if it is close enough to litigate anywhere significant. Intimidating the judiciary, those that are not already partisan lefties. "Hey judge, ya want to be responsible for tossing out a sitting President and unleashing riots?"

Would it work? Quite possibly, at least with the judiciary, which is a spineless appeaser of the left. Although in my opinion, it's time to meet their leftist intimidation head on. You want to riot? Let's rumble. It possible (I'm not sure it's probable) that sufficient numbers of honest Americans feel that way, also.

Uh, if there was a shred of cred to this, Bobo would have proclaimed victory today. I mean, he's stupid enough, but the only one claiming anything in Bobo's cadre is Axelrot doing his Goofy impression. "Gawrsh, despah-ah-ah-ration. Hy-yuk!"

Stephanie "SusanEstrich" Cutter is the tell, in my opinion -- her utterances the past couple of days betray someone who has seen the bad news on paper....

Or perhaps it will cause Obama voters to stay home drinking beer, smoking dope, watching afternoon TV, and working on ways to scam taxpayers out of more money instead of getting their worthless @sses to the polls.

even Bush thought he lost because of the exit polls.

And two months later, GWB gave that liberal Second Inaugural speech, and it was soon downhill thereafter. And, no, I don't miss GWB. Look what he wrought us.

I wonder if McCormick Place will allow those nifty styrofoam columns ? !

Given that its predecessor went up in flames, it seems quite the fitting venue for Ødious to do the same.

What I remember most often is Dan BLather’s brazen attempt to steal Florida for the rats in 2000 by calling the state for Gore while the polls were still open in the mostly Republican panhandle. Amazingly, even after this, some people would still claim there was no media bias.
It was very obvious in 2000 that CBS was frantically looking for any reason to call a state for the rats, sometimes even doing so while the screen showed a large lead for Bush but states like South Carolina that were guaranteed to go for Bush would not be called until hours past the time that they would have been called if they had voted for the rats.

When was this supposed to begin happening? I assume maybe by now? Has anyone heard any such thing yet? Maybe my hope that internals would show it’s so hopeless that the inherently lazy liberals wouldn’t even have the ambition to cheat, thus assisting a landslide, has come true?
