Ninety-three percent (93%) of the states voters say they have made up their minds how they will vote, and the race is 50%-50% among these voters.
Romney has the support of 90% of Virginia Republicans and leads 58% to 37% among voters not affiliated with either of the major parties. The president has 93% backing from the states Democrats.
Virginia voters trust Romney more when it comes to handling the economy by a 51% to 45% margin. The challenger leads the president by two points 49% to 47% - in terms of voter trust when it comes to national security and energy policy. These numbers are essentially unchanged from two weeks ago.

Well, CNN uses a D+11 bias; PPP a D+8; and NBC a D+7. You gotta problem with that??
These Polls are going to have some explaining to do on Wednesday
“Racism!” That’s what they’ll say.
Rasmussen has McCaskill up by 8 in MO. I don’t believe she has that much of a lead.

Smedley Virginia prediction:
Romney - 53%
Doh’bama - 46%
Bush won Virginia in 2004 53.5 - 45.5. I think turnout will be similar. I’ll take give Obama 2 points for being black in a black base state, take away a point for Romney being Mormon in the bible belt region and take another 2 points for Virgil Goode being a factor.
My Virginia prediction:
Romney - 51.5
Obama - 47.5
Goode - 1.5
Johnson et al - .5

They’ll simply say “Democrats didn’t turn out like we thought they would.”
I’m getting loads of Republican mail, but have seen tons of McKaskill propaganda on television, which is much more effective. I’m hoping for a surprising high turnout here in the rural areas to offset the huge dead vote in STL and KC.
Akin is probably down by 3% or so...turnout turnout turnout!
Traveling from Harpers Ferry to Fairfax I saw 31 Romney/Ryan signs, one sign that said “Fire Obama” and ZERO pro-Obama signs. Route 7 is Romney territory as is Fairfax.
If Romney gets less that 55% I will be surprised.
Oh yes, there was a D+8 sampling in the Rasmussen poll
