It's all about Christie.
SNL had a skit about Christie that was actually pretty spot on.

It had to be about Christie; Obama’s media tried to distort his praise of Obama’s aid for the hurricane into an endorsement of Obama (even calling it a “game-changer”).
Christie very effectively removed all doubts about it yesterday.
