Troubled Deutsche Bank has rented out the whole of one of Germanys poshest hotelsfor its top managers to spend three days taking about cutting costs and saving money, a magazine reported at the weekend.
Suites at Berlins Adlon Hotel can cost up to 15,000 ($19,239) a night, while the cheapest room will set penny-pinchers back 320 ($410) a nightand Deutsche Bank has rented out the entire building, Der Spiegel said, in a report to be published on Monday.

The Adlon Hotel was Hitler's official residence in Berlin on and off for several years before he was elected Chancellor in 1933.
For those with musical and Independent Film interests...
Percy Adlon, the great grandson of the Adlon Hotel's founder, directed a well known independent film called “Bagdad Cafe.”
It featured a cheap, rundown California motel and truck stop.
It also featured the song “Calling You,” which was nominated for an Academy Award, around 1989, as I recall.
His son was married to Pamela Adlon from Californication and Louie, the voice of Bobby Hill on King of the Hill.
Funny to get from the Kaiser and Hitler to Louis C.K and David Duchovny and Hank Hill.
