Is Bloomberg checking the dumpsters to make sure there are no trans-fats in them?
There is a big difference between this and Katrina. After Katrina people all over the country were taking in refugees. Now nobody can afford it. Plus there’s no room since all those kids 26 years old and under moved back home to get on their parents’ insurance.
SA is who I donated to. There have been too many shenanigans by the Red Cross for me to trust them.
SA is the best, along with Franklin Graham's Samaritans Purse.
So nanny-state Bloomberg gets his own security detail to protect him from the masses, but then tells NYC residents that they don't need guns, just their cell phones to call the police, while the rapist/killer criminal halts his attck to wait for the police to show up in 15-20 min (give or take 10 min). And NYC residents continue to vote for this commie pig bastard? I would love to see his security detail quit en mass, and dump Bloomie in the middle of NYC's worst crime neighborhood, armed with only his cell phone.... I would LOVE to see that.
I don’t think the looting was caught on video, but this is the nursing home in question:

More important, why were the Rockaway nursing homes told NOT to evacuate before the storm?

Obama doesn’t care about these people. He’s got more important things to think about.

Maybe Obozo was using the nursing homes to funnel weapons to Syrian rebels, and he didn't want anybody calling attention to them.
sorry
But while I'm here, and as much as I hate it, I have to make a confession: I have a new-found respect for the people of Occupy Wall Street. They were the first into the Rockaways and have setup aid/food stations up and down the peninsula, one in an abandoned firehouse. They're climbing up 17 flights of unlit stairwells in some of the worse public housing projects bring blankets and supplies to the eldery trapped on the upper floors. I wouldn't set foot in those buildings; they either have more guts than I or they are very naive. There are a bunch of Youtube videos about them.
