Sorry, but Mandel is going to get trounced in Ohio.

I may be off but I don't see Mandel getting trounced. Sherrod Brown has had lots of money to throw at negative campaign ads but I don't see it paing off in large numbers of votes. I also have seen very few Brown signs. Was out yesterday through Geauga County and saw more Obama signs than I would like but the only signs with Brown's name were Brown=War on Coal. Lots of Mandel signs. In fact, there were more Mandel signs than Romney/Ryan signs.

Here is a Wenzel Strategies Ohio Poll that they just released that puts Brown's favorable/unfavorable at 47.2 to 49.6 and puts Mandel at 50.2 over Brown's 44.8.

This same poll has Romney at 49.1 over Obama at 45.6. So Mandel is getting stronger support than Romney and Obama has a stronger favorable rating than Brown in this poll. I know there other polls that show Brown still leading but where are you coming up with Mandel getting trounced?

If Romney wins Ohio and Mandel loses that would be a very odd result.

Just to be clear in my post above, Brown=Sherrod Brown (D), the Ohio Senator running for re-election against Josh Mandell (R).

I’m thinking the dems will get a pretty strong turnout on the US house and senate candidates but they won’t be voting obama. I hope you are right.
