Consistent with a recent Pew Research survey that found a majority of voters voting for Romney are now affirmatively voting for him instead of merely against President Barack Obama, Republicans in Colorado have said they have not seen the level of enthusiasm for Republicans that they are seeing for Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan in a decade.
According to the Denver Post:
Most Republicans contend that the last time the GOP top of the ticket in Colorado was this strong was in 2002, when Gov. Bill Owens and U.S. Sen. Wayne Allard ran for re-election.

Fitting that the first debate was held in Colorado. That was the night that everything turned around for Romney.
From what I saw about the Red Rocks event and then tonight on Fox News live, he is drawing more enthusiastic crowds than any Republican Presidential candidate since Reagan and maybe even before that. Right up there with Palin.
I spent four hours today calling republicans in CO and was surprised by how many had voted early and for Romney. The reasons for the calls were to ask people if they had voted yet and to please vote Tuesday, we would need every vote to insure a Romney-Ryan win in CO.
There seems to be a lot of enthusiasm, but I was calling republicans. Of course the list is never perfect and I talked with one or two people who voted for the Fraud. They had voted early also.
Going back tomorrow for the final time. Happy to volunteer, and hope it makes some difference.

Enthusiasm would have been high nationally if they'd thrown someone at us besides Milquetoast McCain.
