I've been meaning to ask this question: what time (ballpark) do people think the election will be called? Assuming no Bush v. Gore debacle, of course.
I went to bed early for the last one because the outcome was pre-ordained (pun intended). I'm wondering if I should go to bed, and wake up . . . or just pull the all-nighter?
I wake up around 4:30am every day for work, that's why I'm asking.
I remember when the 2000 election was called after only 1 percent of the votes were in Florida and that didn’t include the Panhandle which is in the central time zone
If I had to bet. 2AM. At earliest, due to Ohio provisional ballots.
11:45 PM Eastern Time.
Foolish taxpayer. /sarc
When we see PA, FL, NC, WV, and NH, for Romney you can get a good night sleep.. I don’t think we will see Ohio called until 2014.. Screw’em we didn’t need ya!
The other swings we pull off are Wisconsin (big), MN, and CO.. I am afraid we might miss NV and NM (very close).. I think Michigan might be a tie, until we get a recount (fraud alert)in a couple of counties, advantage Obs#it..
The fun for the evening might be, ta da..Oregon.. tossup
Our big shock, and heart breaker, we get slapped down.. in TX..
(just wanted to see who read it all the way through.. Ha!)
Well; it'll be evident who wins about 15 minutes after the polling places close.
Whether we'll HEAR about it from MSM will be quite another story....
