It’s a union thing . They want these non union to sign up into their union so when the pay check comes the people running the union gets their cut . They do not care if people are dying of lack of water because there is no power to run the pumps they want their cut . What you are seeing is how democrats get rich while saying they look out for the little guy in action .
FEMA is pretty worthless too . I have been in sooooooo many hurricanes and never seen them once but then I have always lived in a white middle class area .
You can not count on other people to care for you in times of trouble , especially in large cities .
