Heck, let North Carolina Baptist volunteers handle it, they had emergency food service operations capable of serving 80,000 and potable water, as well as facilities for hot showers and laundry there by Wednesday.

The liberals would be aghast at Baptist volunteers. They would be afraid of violating separation of church and state and all that. Plus, odds are these Baptist people oppose homosexual marriage, so the liberals would reject aid from such people.

I speak from post-Katrina experience...a van full of Baptist church ladies,a cell phone and a pot and spoons and they can HANDLE ANYTHING! I firmly believe that. Their organizational network and can-do determination is epic! God Bless em. Even sitting in lines for gas there were Baptists going car to car with cold water. They fed folks`brought free clothing, cut hair, supplied laundry trucks, then listened and prayed with you. Let`em in and life improves immediately!

Contract it out to the Japanese Yakuza...since the Mafia seem to be missing in action....

The Yakuza would take care of any looters and truck in water, food and generators.
