I can’t believe I am saying this, because I was a proud member of the anyone-but-Romney camp, but ... he has more than a little Reagan in him.

When I saw that new ad they put out today I could have sworn that his voice was carrying the same pitch and It as Reagan’s.

Me too. I supported Perry in the primaries. I thought I was the only one noticing this about Romney but I’ve read a lot of other comments like yours - he IS surprisingly Reagan-like.

I also have to admit that I was a proud member of the anyone-but-Mitt camp. I, too, see some of Reagan in him. My, how things can change. I’ve been watching all the videos of his rallies, and have to admit - I don’t think Newt or Santorum could have pulled this off. I do believe that Santorum is more conservative than Mitt, and Newt is good at history and breaking people’s knees, but the support wasn’t there for either of them. However, Santorum did at least give Mitt a run for his money. Ok - its just a term - none of them could give Mitt a run for his money.
