These idiots fail to take into account the number of Anglos and Asians that will leave the Democrats when faced with “blue” policies. The demographics may change but people will adjust their voting patterns accordingly. See The South, Jebbie? Just look at the racial makeup of the Demonrats today. They’ve run millions of Anglos out of their ****hole party, present company included. People get fed up with their crap and hypocrisy. Racial pandering and immigration is the only thing that’s keeping them in business as they move further left off the charts.

I’ve long said that the ultimate demise of the Democratic Party and its welfare-state mentality is going to happen when Hispanics and blacks end up fighting with each other of their “aggrieved victim” status. You’ve already seen this in places like Miami, and in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina New Orleans has become a much more Mexican city.
Demographics don’t work out for Anglos & Asians; the Republicans should be able to garner support with Latinos with the same things that attract whites: low taxes, business-friendly atmospheres, basically the American Dream. As for those Hispanics that are basically replacements for the black urban underclass, no outreach is warranted or necessary; they were imported specifically to vote Dem (and replace the number of blacks thinned by the welfare reform of 1996).
I diagree..look at CA...used to be Republican state..my wife and I have considered moving from OR to TX but wtih the inevitable move for TX towards a democratic state, we figured it wouldnt make a difference long term and have decided to stay put...
The great taxpaying American middle class is finding its true home which is the Republican party. This awareness is traveling thoughout the country first from the South, now it is showing up in the Midwest in Wisconsin, even people in Massachusetts where I live are telling me that they do not recognize the Democratic party that they grew up in. This is the beginning of a sea change in American politics. People are begining to see through the self-serving lies of the Democrats. There is one thing that the Democratic party cannot endure and that is people actually watching them closely. The more you look at them, the more they seem like the snake oil salesmen that they are.
