Win/win situation. She’s financially sound for the rest of her life..and hopefully her whole family, and the rest of us don’t have to pay for them any more.

The problem is that, now that her winnings are public knowledge, every person with a sob story is going to come crawling out of the woodwork to get money out of her and others will sue her for imaginary damages to get money out of her and, since she’s in California, probably half of the money will disappear in taxes, etc.

Give that woman a year and she’ll be back on disability and welfare.
