I don't know that they were larger rallies, I can't remember. But, I do sort of temper my enthusiasm reminding myself of the crowds she was drawing and I was convinced this silent majority was going to come out and save the day. Never happened.

Though Sara had a giant, cumbersome anchor attached to her--John McCain.

This just feels different, IMO.

I was at that wonderful rally!! HUGE crowd—lot of fun—even though it was cold out. BEST rally I have attended—EVER!!

ONE thing DID happen as I was leaving—however—that is VERY telling—at least to ME!! AS me and my sister were leaving the bleacher area—far right of the podium—1/3 of the way up or so—I stumbled going down, and fell over—head FIRST— into the crowded aisle!! Now—things COULD have ended up like in the Who concert in 1979—I could have been trampled, my head could have hit the bleachers—etc.

INSTEAD—as my sister tried to pull me up—WITHOUT success—one or TWO people in the crowd around me—HELPED ME UP_-and ALL were concerned with my safety—and asked if I was ok. I WAS_-NO injuries at ALL—My head had hit the legs of the people in front of me and was “cushioned” by that—and people STOPPED flooding down the stairs—and HELPED me—

Says a LOT about the type of crowd there—Vs a typical crowd at a concert—or likely OWS or other liberal event—doesn’t it??
