Your post speaks directly to my previous post about people fearing the things they don't understand. There has been a clinical trial of genetically modified foods going on for hundreds of years. And, today, we live longer, healthier lives than at any other time in human history. It doesn't matter if these changes are made through natural selection or from gene splicing. The latter only speeds up the process. The end result is the same. It has nothing to do with faith in the FDA, EPA, USDA or Monsanto. The R&D people at Monsanto consume the very foods their products make better. My confidence comes from understanding enough about nutrition, physiology and food science to separate fact from fiction.
By the way, rBGH is biochemically identical to the same hormone the cow produces naturally. You should also be aware that bovine growth hormones do not dock with human hormone receptors. Again, your fear is not supported by legitimate science so you are, once again, being irrational.
Demonizing Monsanto is for anti-science agitators and anti-capitalists. Conservatives shouldn't be engaging in such nonsense. By doing so, you are highlighting your lack of scientific knowledge and you are absolutely siding with the green whackos. You should reconsider that posture.
There has been a clinical trial of genetically modified foods going on for hundreds of years.Really? Please provide a link to this study.
And, today, we live longer, healthier lives than at any other time in human history.
You are smart enough not to confuse correlation with causality.
