I am not a general. I am just a wife. But I think air support was called for in this situation. It was a fubar. Sometimes folks by some miracle make it out of these situations as did the majority of the spooks and highly trained individuals did in Benghazi. If this situation had not involved the ambassador, most of us would not have heard of Ty Woods or Glen Doherty beyond reading their names in a news article. There would have been no presidential welcoming of the caskets. The president would not have even acknowledged their deaths with a letter. As it is, we have seen the administration lie over and over again to cover for their own, uh, mess-ups.
