Couldn't they have had food, water, blankets, TP, meds, diapers, etc in semi's ready to bring in? Shelter's and shuttles readied?

Couldn't THE PEOPLE themselves had food, water, etc. They had plenty of time to prepare. They didn't.

It is so clear. Anybody who thinks the government is going to take care of them is a moron. Food, water, social security, health care, whatever.

I'm talking about help for the folks who no longer have homes. Even if they did prepare, they've lost everything.

I'm also going by past experience from here in Texas. Shelters and supplies are set up - even in outlaying locations - BEFORE the hurricane hits.
