Right — I should have been more clear. A tsunami isn’t something that this region has ever had to deal with, at least not in recent millenia. I’m thinking more along the lines of the things we’ve dealt with periodically in the Northeast ... weather, blackouts, etc.
I understand your emphasis, and it’s completely reasoned.
The only reason I mentioned the tsunami, was that I saw a program addressing an island in the Southern Eastern Atlantic that faces New England and has the potential to be a big problem.
Half the island could break off. It’s had parts break off before, and there’s a fissure or indicator that goes through the middle of it.
As you state, it has been dormant for a long time. You just wonder sometimes.
