Interesting what you said about the blue states. I should have specified that I was wondering how Obama will look outside of the Sandy struck region of the US on this issue.

Outside of the Sandy-affected areas, Romney is being very practical. He looks competent, has economic credibility, made an excellent VP choice, and by just being credible, he exposes Obama’s weaknesses. Obama does not handle pressure well. He says foolish things and just because the media doesn’t pick at it doesn’t mean that the people didn’t hear it.

In the 2nd debate I think Romney won the election on his responses to energy, especially coal, and on the response to the Black man who asked Obama why he should vote for him again. Obama stupidly answered both topics. On energy he said gas prices were $1.86 when he took office because the economy was on the verge of collapse. Well it’s only gotten worse since so how do justify the price doubling? I think a lot of people heard that and realized the guy doesn’t know what he’s talking about. Romney talked about opening up clean coal mining, the Keystone pipeline, and loosening the regulations on public land drilling. PA and OH heard that!

On the response to the disenchanted Obama voter, Obama is trying to convince the guy that he’s had all these middle class tax cuts and spending on nonsense and the voter doesn’t really understand or appreciate how much Obama has done for him. Selfish, poor answer. I have never heard a more powerful and damning prosecution of a failed administration in a 2 minute response than what Romney delivered in response. Romney climbed to 50% and has pretty much stayed there, and Obama remains stuck.

Sandy will do nothing nationwide to change voters’ minds. Romney will win.
