I did not say you were cavalier. But saying “it’s going to happen” is, WADR, a cavalier attitude; we need to say “we’re going to stop it” instead. Also, “genetic contribution” has nothing to do with it, and there is no guarantee that the kid would have grown up a jihadist if he had lived; to say that he would have is to dismiss people like Mosab Hassan Yousef, who grew up in Hamas yet abandoned it and became a Christian while helping out Shin Bet in the process.
