Well Newt, that's all well and good. But if the "major news networks" turn out to be CBS/NBC/ABC we will wait a lot longer than 2 days to see these E-mails. Nevertheless, an interesting rumor.

Pretty much a repeat of the original “October Surprise” where Reagan was accused of collaborating with the Iranians to hold the hostages in order to defeat Carter. This would set up Hillary to run against Romney in 2016. No real difference than Hillary holding up a newspaper after 9/11 proclaiming “Bush Knew”.

It all matches up good as any other explanation.
So the cover up didn't start until it became clear that they actually were terrorists later on. That's why the confusion with Petraeus and Panetta now. The decision was at the time, perhaps, a judgement call and the POTUS erred on the side of a few dozen Arabs over a couple of Americans.
We already KNOW that this is how the RoE are elsewhere in the Middle East, so we should expect nothing better here.

Nah, this rumor has been out from the conspiracy theorists from the beginning. The truth is much better than the fiction.

So...we have to hope for a leaker either from the government OR from the MSM (perhaps they really are the state-run media and part of the Obama government). If there are such e-mails documenting a stand down order from the White House despite numerous calls for help from Benghazi, Obama, if he has any honor, should immediately resign from the presidential race.
