Sounds dubious. Certainly Obama didn’t give out these e-mails. And if it was a leaker why would they leak them to someone (MSM network) who would be more than likely to just sit on them to kill the story.
It’s possible, just possible, that some of the news media wants to remain relevant or at least interesting enough to collect a paycheck, and that somebody from these sources has been inquiring, hoping to scoop Fox.
Something else we mustn’t forget is that Obama has treated the press like dirt, despite their great love for him. He has not let them travel with him, he doesn’t give open press conferences and in fact didn’t give any press conferences at all for years, and has excluded them and even insulted and belittled individual members of the press.
Maybe his hubris will get him yet.
Agreed; I think Newt is being played. If a leaker wanted this to get out, Drudge would have them.
