I would guess that those polling who said he’s Jewish were just having fun with the pollster by telling them an obvious lie to see how it would fly. I have (sadly) done this myself, especially on push polls from overtly liberal polling firms. I’m on a calling list of some sort; even though I live way off the road in Bush Alaska, I get lots of polling calls. Go figure. When the call is one of those automated jobs, I’ve even let my elementary-age son answer the questions. Hard to say if my answers are considered. How would they know I’m not a Japanese-American woman, aged 26-34, with an income of less than $10,000 and a doctorate?
Seriously, though, the lack of religious affiliation from our Dear Leader is also clear enough. He’s rarely shown at church; he rarely talks about Scripture; he sneers at believers; and he’s a leftist. Ergo, no religion.
