This is exactly my and my spouse's fear. Even if it's blatant, I doubt the media will cover it, and their shameless coverup on Benghazi is their way of signalling us on that.
PS: This is the first reply I've made under my new FR handle, and the first I've been back on FR since I quietly left a few years ago due to life, political work responsibilities required my being engaged instead professionally in social media such as FB, Twitter, and frankly, some of the pettiness and even ugliness having to do with isolated issue differences that I just didn't want to be a part of. I always liked FR more when we all collectively had our "eyes on the prize," and when we saw the big picture. The outrageous behaviors of Obama and the media the past few days, I feel, have brought all this back into focus. Benghazi has driven me back here, to the place that was able to make such a difference during the "Get Out of Cheney's House" days of the past. (Wow, I have some fond memories of coming up with and participating in FReeps and postings that actually influenced media). I don't know if this is still the same FR that I quietly withdrew from years ago, but if it's not, I wish it was. The media's blackout of BenghaziGate is perhaps THE SINGLE MOST blatant and unabashed effort of bias I've seen, ever. It reminds me of Gore's effort to steal the election in 2000. I don't know how much I'll be able to participate, but it feels good to be able to come back.
(I must admit, I had to re-edit this 4 times due to having become quite rusty on html! Haha.)
Welcome back!

It is not really Free Republic. It is but a frail shadow of what once was.
