He probably doesn't want people to contrast the huge Red Rock rally for Romney with the lesser crowd he would probably attract.

There are not that many liberals in COS.

There are some places you don’t waste your time on in this country. An Obama campaign stop won’t change how El Paso votes.

This is kind of misleading, Red Rocks Apmitheatre is in Denver County, Red Rocks park is 90 miles away in Colo Springs.

He was in Denver the very next day, and the local media briefly reported that there were many more attendees for Obama then Romney. They eventually changed that to it “seemed” there were many more attendees.
