How they can say away with saying the “fog of war”, when they had up to minute real-time information from video, drones, phones, emails, etc. is beyond me.

How about the “fog of the Obama admin” instead? We can't even find out who gave the orders in the situation room and what orders to help or to stand down were given.

I think Obama went to bed and he left someone else in charge to give the orders.
