Breaking: Obama campaign is going up with TV ads in...Minnesota.

Scott Conroy ‏@RealClearScott

Obama camp says MN ads are targeted to WI (Minneapolis market covers 7 WI counties) but buy comes after Romney camp went up in MN.

Garrett Haake ‏@GarrettNBCNews

Romney adviser Eric Fehrnstrom says he believes race in MN is tied, which is why they're going up with ads in Minneapolis.

Don’t bother, Barack. Mr. Romney will soon be President Romney. Might as well pack those bags for Hawaii...

This is just like 2008...except in reverse.

Obama was so confident he started putting ads in McCain States like Indiana, North Carolina, etc - state that had gone Repubican for decades and people thought “Obama can’t win those - he’s doing this for show!”

And guess what - Obama did win them. And Romney will likely win a few surprises of his own during election night - Wisconsin, Iowa, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Minnesota - Romney will steal some of these. And I LOVE that Obama has to play defense in his safe states. Must feel wonderful haha.

As recently as last night, Obama had TV ads on Seattle, WA cable channels.

He's been running ads here for like six months.

Makes no sense to me.

In 2008, Obama beat McCain 70%-28% in Seattle.

They’re still broadcasting Obama ads here in California—TV and radio. Curious, as we’re as blue a state as you can get. My guess is that the Dems are in dire need of campaign funds—not just for the election, but for their lawsuits that are sure to follow when Romney wins.

Yep, cable broadcast out of Minneapols covers most of the western side of WI.

This is a false justification by the Obama camp. While it is true that Minneapolis stations cover parts of Wisconsin, the parts they cover are going to be more rural, and thus full of Romney-Ryan voters. The two Wisconsin counties closest to Minneapolis both went for McCain in 2008.

If Obama wanted to do a big media buy for the purposes of winning Wisconsin, he'd buy in Madison, Milwaukee, and Green Bay, not in Minneapolis.

He's buying in Minneapolis because he needs turn-out from Twin City liberals to over-come the rural conservatives. His internal numbers must be showing weakness Minnesota.

Well, I hate to say it: but Dick Morris has been saying MN could go Romney. Something’s up there that’s for sure.

Obama deserves nothing less than shackles and handcuffs for high crimes. His Benghazi lies, cover-up attempts, and his direct involvement in saying no to those crying out for help deserve prison time.

If that's the case, then Romney is truly screwed...

To me it’s not enough that he lose anymore. Minnesota? If any state is so dumb as to vote for this guy, then we need a real revolution. It’s not enough to know who he is or to try to understand why the media protects him. To me, after the embassy attack, he should stand trial. I’m sick to my stomach.

I’d like to see the internal polls. No wonder Mitt has been smiling so much lately.

He is running those ads nationally on the cable networks, not on the local cable systems.

If it’s a big loss, it is almost worth the last four years.

Frankly, I think McCain would have not done a great job looking back. I do think Romney will, especially with Ryan as VP being a great economic resource.

Per a romney adviser just on twitter they just said they show it tied in MN if you can believe it...and I can.

The push is on.

I’m having visions of the last days of WW2, as the German Army crumbled under the onslaught of the Allied forces. I expect 0bama the narcissist to have a breakdown in the final few days before the election. Get out the popcorn, he’s going to exhibit some very bizarre behavior.
