This is why it drives me crazy when the establishment GOPs conventional wisdom is that conservatives must move to the center to be electable. Stand your ground, put forth a clear conservative vision of personal liberty, and the far left socialists are exposed for what they are. They are then drawn into the untenable position of moving to the right, which is an alien universe to most of them.
