Romney was presented with legislation concerning life issues on several occasions from the 85% majority Democrat Legislature in Massachusetts. In every instance he took the pro-life position by vetoing bills or lobbying for the pro-life approach, including the following actions:

Notice how Tamzee plays with context

Tamzee says: He vetoed the bill providing state funding for human embryonic stem cell research (Theo Emery, “Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney Vetoes Stem Cell Bill,” The Associated Press, 5/27/2005)

What doesn't Tamzee cite that Mitt said that day?

Romney: ("I am absolutely committed to my promise to maintain the status quo with regards to laws relating to abortion and choice."

Then Tamzee cites an April 20, 2006 press release but wholly dismissed in the omission of his/her entire post what occurred just eight days earlier in 2006...April 12

What, Tamzee? Did you somehow think that RomneyCare was somehow 100% foreign to either abortion or the abortion industry??? Or that once in place, Planned Parenthood reps -- along with the rest of the board -- wouldn't be setting in place abortion standards????

Well...there goes your 'every instance' nonsense you cited!!!

As governor, Romney could exercise veto power to portions of Commonwealth Care. Did Romney exercise this power? (Yes, he vetoed Sections 5, 27, 29, 47, 112, 113, 134 & 137). What prominent section dealing with Planned Parenthood as part of the "payment policy advisory board" did Romney choose NOT to veto? (Section 3) That section mandates that one member of MassHealth Payment Policy Board must be appointed by Planned Parenthood League of MA. (See chapter 58 of the Acts of 2006, section 3 for details).

Even worse, RomneyCare opened the door for $50 abortions...some of which taxpayers now TOTALLY cover...For details, see: RomneyCare Now Funding FREE Abortions: A Disqualifier for Mitt Romney’s Candidacy [Enabler Mitt]

Click on the above link...and you'll also see how Romney contradicted his own July 2005 veto so proudly cited by Tamzee...Romney contradicted it a mere 3 months later (October, 2005)...

Tamzee has just totally lost his/her credibility on this subject.

Make your words as BIG and SCREECHING as you want, it doesn’t make your smears true. Again, the healthcare bill Romney signed never mentioned the word abortion.

The MassHealth Payment Advisory Board that Planned Parenthood got a spot on has nothing to do with making policy or determining covered procedures. Zero. The only thing it does is review payment rates and make recommendations. It doesn’t even have any authority over rates. Zip authority over anything.

Frankly, you are an Obama supporter and that is all I need to know. I have also concluded people like you are not only harsh and controlling (see an earlier post), but also emotionally needy. The odds that you have ever been estranged from any member of your immediate family is extraordinarily high. It has been my misfortune to deal with people like you.

Hey, Colo... Use a bigger font, then you're sure to win the argument! :)

It's the textual equivalent of a screaming hissy-fit!
