The Wikipedia page for Shuckin' and Jivin' has been changed 21 times today (at the time of this post) - it started today as an "American term" - was switched to a "Southern American term," then an "African American term." Language about how the term referred to the manner in which slaves acted to avoid doing work was added and removed. I could go on.
Before today's flurry, the page was last changed in February and, before that, December 2011.
Shuckin' and jivin' (or shucking and jiving) is a southern American slang term, that gets the people at Freerepublic's panties in a wad, for the behavior of joking and acting facetiously. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shuckin'_and_jivin'
