Checking in from southern MD. Looks like the track is still pushing north a tad but we're still looking at getting quite a wallop from this storm. We lucked out EXTREMELY well during Irene last year (didn't even lose power) but I'm not so sure this time around. Local school district is saying they'll make an announcement between 1-3 pm about tomorrow's school day. Either way we're stocked up, huddled down and waiting to see what this storm brings us.

If true, I may not even be able to get to work. Our area is a high flood zone. They have been working this past year to "raise" the road. It is total chaos.

P.S.......they seemed to have "raised the road" an inch. NOT GONNA HELP since this road was once a river connected to the Long Island Sound, which is 10 feet away from it!!!

However, they did put in a round about....which NO ONE knows how to use! Thnx gubmit!!
