I read that yesterday too. Plus, someone else posted a link to a business site that supposedly showed the prospect of a Staples success at the time was poor. Wish I'd saved that link, but maybe someone here has it. The bottom line though is that the divorcee received 500,000 stocks in the company, and chose to sell them so she could get her hands on the money. Nobody twisted her arm to get rid of the stocks. If she'd held on to them, she would have made a bundle. She's been blaming someone else for 20 years for her own stupidity.
Kind of explains her being a useful idiot for All-Red and the dems. They all want to play the victim card. Heaven forbid they take some personal responsibility.
