Jackson spent most of the afternoon in "Bainport”, the makeshift campsite that's been home to Sensata employees and their supporters for the last 40 days. Things took a turn around 4:00 p.m. when Jackson and about a dozen workers decided to march onto company property, before being arrested by police.

You may remember the plant is scheduled to close the day before the election, because around 170 jobs are being relocated to China. …

Shouldn’t he be at Mayo Clinic, attending to the health and welfare of his son and namesake?

Just Jesse being Jesse. Someone needs to tell him that the 60s are over.

"Today, Jackson said workers were humiliated because they've had to rain their Chinese replacements."

If that's anything like train their replacements, that would be humiliating.

I hope Contessa Brewer didn’t report the arrest as Rev. Al Sharpton:

Freeport was once a great town. Sadly today all that is left is a dieing town full of mugs, pugs, thugs, nitwits, halfwits, dimwits, con men, muggers, buggerers, bushwhackers, hornswogglers, horse thieves, bull dykes, bank robbers, ass-kickers, shit-kickers and Methodists. But enough about the master race baiter Rev. Jeese and the Bainsport occupiers......

I live in Freeport and can attest that this Bainport protest is one big flop. We drove by the fairgrounds Saturday afternoon to see how many people would turn out for Alan Sharpton - 75 max. It looked like many came from out of town because carloads were coming from Rockford.

We didn't bother to see how many were there to see Jesse. He must not have gotten a crowd the first time he was there and needed to be arrested to get noticed this time.

So far the only outlet that has taken up the Bainport cause is MSNBC’s Ed Show. I never heard of the Ed Show until I received an e-mail about it the other day.

I feel sorry about the jobs that were lost at Sensata, but the protests are twenty-five years too late. Where were the protests when Thermos, Microswitch, Newell-Honeywell and other factories sent their jobs to Mexico and overseas?

Another thing. There is a shortage of policemen and a rise of violent crime in downtown Freeport. It's time to close down the 'Bainport Occupiers' and let our police do their jobs. This kind of behavior may go in Chicago, New York City, and Washington D.C., but not in Freeport.

Reverend? My blue healer’s more “reverend,” and he’s colorblind.

Ain’t America great?... a dream where anyone can be measured on the color of their skin, not their character. No, wait. Does Martin Luther King Boulevard run through the area of highest character in your town? Or through ... uh huh. Never mind.

Jesse, you, Al and Zero pissed away 50 years of racial healing in this nation, and any upcoming strife and conflict is on your heads and eternal souls. Live with that.
