A candidates personality often described generally as likeability can greatly affect the way in which his or her policies are perceived. Richard Nixon was far more moderate than Ronald Reagan, but the news media were able to use Nixons somewhat stiff and less approachable personality to paint him as the more sinister extremist. The media tried depicting Reagan as a dangerous cowboy who would start a nuclear war, but Reagans engaging and approachable personal style belied that depiction. As a result, voters gave both Reagan and his conservative ideas a chance, and America became stronger at home and abroad.
In fact, when President Reagan was under pressure to moderate his positions in order to undermine the medias narrative that he was a dangerous extremist, the rallying cry from his conservative base was, Let Reagan be Reagan. The conservative base was confident that the extremist label would not stick, because Reagans easy likeability shone through the media fog, and they were right. But that approach only works when the real person is the person you want voters to see.

My wife was complaining about Barry’s antics during the last two debates. I told her that was “just Barry being Barry”.
“let Obama be Obama”.
(Does this mean he can carry his pink purse with Reggie’s number in it with him from now on?)
He was angry, loud and spewing off all the States he was going to next, "we are pulling an all nighter", everything but the ARGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG.
I swear he looked just as pathetic as Howard Dean did that pitiful memorable night of his demise.

As did my wife, a lefty-Democrat -— she called it the most un-presidential thing she had ever seen, (Obama scolding Romney on horses and bayonets).
She claims she will now vote for Romney, but I’m to tell no one!
Shhhhh!
To all the FR bloggers that have posted that they won’t be voting this election. Romney might not have been your 1st choice but for God’s sake do what you need to do to get Obama out of the role of America’s commander in chief. Obama looked to me like he was seething with hate for Romney. To Obama, Romney represents conservatives, republicans, Tea Party members, and all who oppose him. Thats what I saw...a man who hates not only Romney but more than half of America. Romney did not show this hate back to Obama but did talk to him in a stern voice like when he talked to him concerning his apology tour. It wasnt hate but it was like a man correcting another who is in error. Striking contrast how Obama spoke with such hatred, attacks, a petulant face, an angry stare. God save America from this hateful man. Do your duty America, vote Obama out of office.
After 4 years of devestation at home and around the World, I just don't get it.
Maybe Hillary will send out some more things about Benghazi before the Election. Maybe the MSM will finally do their job, Maybe, maybe, maybe. I HOPE we get CHANGE before it is to late.
This may interest you, from another thread. One that disclosed that Bill is begging Hillary to disclose the documents she has that will exonerate her on the Benghazi affair. From the video below it appears maybe they are once more being threatened with the life of Chelsea. Obama mobsters did it once in 2008, they will do it again.
I don't think it will appear clickable sorry, so copy and paste
