WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said on Wednesday a Facebook post in which an Islamic militant group claimed credit for a recent attack on the U.S. mission in Benghazi, Libya did not constitute hard evidence of who was responsible.
“Posting something on Facebook is not in and of itself evidence. I think it just underscores how fluid the reporting was at the time and continued for some time to be,” Clinton said during an appearance with the Brazilian foreign minister at the State Department.
But a YouTube video, now that’s proof!
I think the lack of permission was from the administration rather than the Libyan government. The military was just moving assets into place in case they received the go ahead from Washington.
Should we buy farewell cards for General Dempsey? Can’t stand that man.
I believe it is the hook and not the chain that is at fault. it was hat unanswered phone call that told them not to go.
I know who should be the first one in the chain of command to get relieved - the fault is at the top, our Dear Leader, Community-Organizer-in-Chief.
I’m gonna have to talk to my Dad, a WWII vet, to find out whether we asked Japan if it was OK to enter their air space after they attacked Pearl Harbor—Another act of war, by the way.

There are three scandals here...

For weeks now I have thought that the denial of requests for security were a dereliction of duty. I consider the lies and misdirection about the "video" after the attack to be fraud and malfeasance under the color of authority. I don't consider the inaction during the attack to be any of those.
The failure to act during the attack is the direct equivalent of desertion IMO.
ONE man had the authority to act that night.
ONE man deserted his post!
IF, permission was needed when our Consulate was under attack (and I think this constitutes an act of War?)....and this lying, corrupt, Regime is trying to use that as an excuse as to why no Military response was ordered to Bengazi....
WHY was NO "Permission" needed or required when we encroached on a sovereign nation (Pakee-s-tan) when we sent the Seals to get Bin Laden???
Maybe. MacArthur asked before he extended the war into China and was told no. If we want more war then do a formal Congressional declaration of war and start up the draft to get overwhelming force and the support of the nation.
