The romney folks should not be so quick to not object. They should simply stay out of it, and let Mr. Sternberg’s lawyers strenuously object, as they are.
This is ultimately NOT going to be about the documents. It’s going to be about the gag order. It’s going to be about allowing this woman to run to Oprah to tell “the rest of her story”, and about the Romney campaign having to deal with whatever lies she presents as new information. She will be able to say anything she wants, and there are plenty of stupid people who will believe her.
the Romney and Stemberg attorneys need to ask Allred in open court: "what exactly is the 'emergency'? Why can't this wait 60-90 days, as usual?" When Allred responds that the American people need to know this info, they can attack her as abusing the court system for political gain, and subtly threaten the judge not to sully her new career (she is only on the bench 6 months) with this.
