I have a friend like that too. He told me in ‘94 that Isam was going to be a major problem. He told me in ‘98 that we would have violence on the border and big problems there. I talked to him the other day about my views on this and he was in total agreement. 0bama had sole authority to act and he did nothing. He was AWOL. 0bama deserted his post in the heat of battle.

Obama had to make this about something else - but he was careful to give a passing mention to terrorism in the Rose Garden.
If it were known to be a terrorist attack, he would not have been able to fly off to Vegas. It would also put a damper on his campaigning.
Terrorist attacks require the president’s attention. That’s too much to ask from this community organizer. Re-election was the priority.
