OGLE COUNTY (WREX) -
Illinois is the last state to adopt some kind of concealed carry law.
People in Ogle County will have a chance to voice their opinion, again, on the matter very soon.
Ogle will join several other Illinois counties this spring and vote on whether people should be able to carry a weapon.
"Actually it started a few months ago when people started circulating a petition to put this question on the ballot," said Jim Barnes, Chairman of the Ogle County Board.
Nearly a thousand people signed that petition.
After the County Board reviewed it, members voted unanimously to include the resolution.
During the April 6th election, ballots will ask voters to decide if they think the state should pass a law that allows people to carry a concealed weapon.

That’s me, and you can bet my wife and I will be voting for open carry.
That’s me, too. I will certainly be joining BCSCO.
