Chemical company DuPont announced Tuesday it would cut about 1,500 jobs worldwide, or about 2% of its global work force.
The company said it will make the cuts over the next 12 to 18 months as part of an effort to trim costs by $450 million. But the cost-cutting effort resulted in $342 million in after-tax charges in the most recent quarter.

Zero will look at this as a win. You see, rather than bringing back industry from overseas, he will repatriot those unemployed and working outside the country for Dupont.
My husband’s job is in parts supply, they just laid off 10,500 people nation wide.
Yes, the job cuts are world wide...call me skeptical, but if MOST of these job cuts were “overseas”, I believe the Obama lovers at CNN would have said so.
I bet most of these job cuts will affect Americans.

In addition to those jobs cuts, DuPont also eliminated the company medical plan for its retirees. Obamacare strikes again.
