Crop yields here in Iowa are showing numbers that are almost miraculous with the brutal weather we had.
We had day after day of 100 degree weather and a severe drought.
At one point one of agricultural weather forecasters referred the upcoming cornbelt weather this summer; as the “kill shot” that would finish off the crop.

The AMAZING work that crop geneticists and plant breeders have done; is very much responsible for the disaster dodging crops that are being harvested.

Call it GMO; call it whatever; but it is vital and amazing technology
