Hardly, Barbara Boxer is one of the biggest supporters, as are all of the far left, here is a partial list of supporters from a pro-prop37 site, including our favourite labor groups, Move0n, etc. etc. Most of these are the far left: http://www.carighttoknow.org/endorsements

“Roundup Ready” is a term used by Monsanto in their own packaging and advertising, Einstein.

That doesn't make sense. You claim that Monsanto's Roundup Ready seeds means that Monsanto sells more Roundup. Why would you spray Roundup on plants you meant to grow?

Here is a website (Pro Prop 37) with a partial list of the supporters...it is many far left types, MoveOn, Barbara Boxer, labor groups, many organic groups, Democrat Party...how a number of the FR people are allied with the far left mystifies me...I guess it explains how decades of brain washing by the left and the Greens, and poor education about science, leads to this. http://www.carighttoknow.org/endorsements#political

Are you aware of Semonyx HEK 293 ?

It hurts pepsi if you don’t want to drink their swill taste tested by aborted babies.

HEK 293 is a fetal kidney cell line that was derived from a single aborted fetus over 30 years ago in the Netherlands. That single cell line has been replicated and is used for a myriad of purposes including very important medical research. Although I concede that may not make the abortion of that child justified, the exact circumstances of the reasons for the abortion are unknown, whether it was a tubular pregnancy with the abortion performed to save the life of the mother for instance.

Semonyx uses the cell line in its flavor receptor testing. It should be noted that HEK 293 is not now and has never its self been a food additive or ingredient in any product. This prop would do nothing to as you say, “hurt pepsi if you don’t want to drink their swill taste tested by aborted babies” as HEK 293 is not an “ingredient” and does not its self genetically modify any food.

I simply doubt your sincerity? What is it about all that you have presented that gives anyone the right to mess with God’s work and natural law? I don’t give a flying fart what China is doing, I can’t control that. But I can control what goes in
to familiy’s diet if I know what it is.
You clearly have an agenda, I am good with that.
I just fundamentally disagree.

So far, you have called out alot of people by insulting them.
Waytago!

P.S Where’s your science? How long did the studies last? The “Market” will collapse if people know the truth, science these days is mostly b/s...globull warming anyone?

BTW I agree with Carrie......bring back the DDT!

Yep. But you know “frankenfood” bad; but more government regulation, the continued strangulation of business, higher food prices, crops yielding less, more money in the hands of trial lawyers, laws that make you “feel good” and labels that most people won’t even bother reading - double plus good. ; )

Again, your lack of understanding science comes out in this comment. You don't understand Bt (natural, created by God) and most all the vegetables you eat have been genetically manipulated by man. Even the conventional corn is a hybrid that has been genetically manipulated. The tomatoes are nothing like the originals in Central America and have been manipulated by man, for another example. And, as I posted, most the promoters of this proposition are the Democrat Party, the far left and the organic food industry...and you question my sincerity? Big money in this for the Greens and organic industry. http://www.carighttoknow.org/endorsements#political

o, it is not informing you. Do you know what’s in gasoline? All the surfactants, detergents and additives? Would it mean anything to you to know what they were? MTBE on the other hand

No offense Carrie but I don’t know anyone who drinks gasoline.....Sniffing benzene accidentally while filling your car is a whole ‘nother issue.

Roundup is sprayed on the weeds.

That damages normal corn.

Roundup Ready corn is tolerant of roundup, thus allowing it’s use.

Capiche?

Just because Bt occurs naturally in some soils is not a reason that it should be applied helter-skelter.

This is why it is dangerous to allow ignorant folks like you access to partial information through propaganda.

Elections are dangerous times. Get educated, please.

Why is the organic industry allowed to spray it on all of the crops, if it is so dangerous? It is an approved natural pesticide and can be sprayed freely by the organic industry...you obviously have no clue about the science of Bt or even that it is a natural bacteria. There are hundreds of link about Bt and use in the organic industry, here is just one http://organicgardening.about.com/od/organicgardeningglossary/g/bacillusthuringiensis.htm

Their filthy workers will put their fecal matter on the food, and you’ll be happy.

They been doing that for 60 years, nothing has changed.

Ya gotta wash your food..period.

This crap puts it “in” the food.., can’t wash THAT off.

God did NOT expect it to be intentionally inserted into anything.

I already posted that site to show how the lefties, Greens and Democrats are supporting this bill. Barbara Boxer is one of the biggest supporters, along with MoveON and the dummy underground. If you would just log on and post on MoveOn you would find all your buddies there and you wouldn’t have to argue with people who understand the biotechnology and science....you will be much happier on MoveOn, they all agree with you.

>> “Why is the organic industry allowed to spray it on all of the crops, if it is so dangerous?” <<

.
“Organic” is a designation under law, not a guarantee of truth. There is considerable garbage marketed legally under the “Organic” construct.

Please realize that you are uninformed and clueless, a weathervane for news articles. Get educated.

Genetic change is not genetic engineering.

The inability of factory turkeys to self-procreate is simply another example of the safety of relying on the natural processes rather than genetic engineering. The factory turkey would simply become extinct naturally if left to its own devices; the same cannot be said of genetically engineered organisms; they survive and contaminate the natural genetic pool permanently.

You’ve simply found another way to propose your lie.
