IIRC, Jimmy Carter was a “born again” Christian. After leaving office, Carter dropped being a Southern Baptist, and formally left them.

Please tell us what guidelines you use for voting. A person can well be born again, believing that Jesus is Lord, and that God raised Him from the dead, and yet still be mistaken in other matters. That still does not nullify that he is indeed born again.
