Maybe instead of sending their kids to Cesar Chavez Academy, they need to find a Martin Luther King Jr. school.....

puleeze!! “..officers stopped two illegal immigrants ..”

There is no such thing as an “illegal immigrant.” “Immigrants” by definition are legally in the country. This country is a nation of immigrants - legal immigrants. These two were illegal aliens and subject to arrest and removal.

Let’s try this story with a different crime:

>>
An operation by police in Detroit set off protests from criminal supporters and criminals’ families after the officers stopped two bank robbers as they were pulling up in front a bank with their guns drawn.

Based on a tip, agents from the FBI followed both robbers as they left their homes in southwest Detroit on Tuesday morning, officials from the agency said. Both men had weapons in their vehicles.

One man, Jorge Hernandez, said he was pulled over by agents in unmarked cars across the street from the bank. Mr. Hernandez was questioned but eventually released.

The other man, Hector Orozco Villa, told criminal advocates that he had been detained by agents near the bank he intended to rob. Mr. Orozco remains in the custody of the agency.

The presence of the agents spread alarm among other criminals in the neighborhood, community organizers said. More than 100 people rallied on Wednesday to protest, according to a report in The Detroit News, saying the FBI had broken an earlier promise to avoid arrests near banks, liquor stores and other places with money.

When we put it that way...

The presence of the agents spread alarm among arriving parents and children in the Latino neighborhood

That's OK, I don't mind.
