Last night President Obama got wee-weed-up claiming it was "offensive" to suggest that he or anyone on his team would mislead the public on the Benghazi attack. He then went on to immediately mislead the public about his own record on Benghazi.
In case you missed it, you can watch the exchange here. Romney asks if the President is saying he called Benghazi an "act of terror" on 9/12 and Obama says "Please proceed, governor." Romney then says it was 14 days before Obama called it an "act of terror" and Obama interjects "get the transcript." At this point Candy Crowley intercedes and notes that Obama did indeed use those words in his 9/12 rose garden speech about the incident.
Obama did use those words, but he certainly did not call Benghazi terrorism in the first two weeks after the attack. What Romney should have pointed out last night is that "act of terror" does not equal terrorism under this administration. In fact, if you go back to Obama's 9/12 rose garden speech, you find that he was blaming the video for the "senseless violence" in Benghazi. That's front and center in the 4th paragraph of Obama's speech. His reference to "acts of terror" is an aside in the 10th paragraph after he has been discussing 9/11/01 and the loss of American lives in Iraq and Afghanistan.
But if you have any doubt that "act of terror" does not equal terrorism, take a look at Jay Carney's briefing on 9/14 (video below). Carney blames the YouTube video for the violence 14 times. He is specifically asked three times if he means to include Benghazi in this formulation and says "we don't know otherwise...we have no information to suggest it was a preplanned attack."

An act of terror is not the same as an act of terrorisim.

So I have a question because I just noticed his debate photos.
Is obama really left-handed? Because he wears his watch on his left hand and all the lefties I know wear them on their right.
Just another strangeness about him.
This was exactly what happened in Mumbai. Except they handled it better our government did. Obama could lie all he wants. Doesn’t make it true. Any so-called journalist who believes Obama’s crap is really really stupid and an incredibly bad judge of character.
Fine.If Obama meant that by mentioning “an act of terror” in his Rose garden performance that he was definitely and without question stating that the attack in Benghazi was a terrorist act, he sure has a funny way of expressing himself. So funny in fact that his UN ambassador and other State department officials kept blaming an internet video that caused a “spontaneous demonstration”. Guess none of them understood what the boss said. Are the American people so dopey that they accept this nonsense and incompetence?
I heard a story yesterday while in Washington, DC. The the guards hired by the British firm were known Jihadist’s. It true this would be the nail in Obama’s reelection chances. If the story is tru then it makes sense for Romney to wait until Monday’s debate. Allowing obummer to really keep his lies going until the can bring his regime down.
Has anybody else heard this about the guards being Jihadists?

How did President Obama know that Crowley had the transcript...he said “look at the transcript.” She had it on her desk and looked and confirmed his lie. The whole exchange was staged, rehearsed and set up.
Other rehearsed set-ups include the question on women receiving only 72% of men’s pay. That is a canard based on women who leave the workforce to have and raise children and then are rehired, say 15 years later,at a lower pay than the man who has moved up over 15 years. Duh!

In order for the child-rearing parent (man or woman) to be “given” equal pay, the non child-rearing parent would have to have been held back so the other parent could be paid the same at the time of re-entry into the workforce.
If one is paid by experience, knowledge and skills then equality based on skin color or sex is just coincidental from employee to employee.
At the present time our society is still recovering from biases whose counter actions have been labeled as “rights” : civil, women’s, illegal alien’s; healthcare, student’s, etc, etc, etc.
Politicians always gravitate to the areas of maximum chaos, and do their best to keep chaos going for longer than the careers of their descendants.
Hence, we have infinite Federal Government Spending, infinite Federal Government Taxation, and my personal favorite: infinite Federal Fairness, whereby all people on the Federal Welfare Entitlement Plantation are EXACTLY equal, except the Plantation Politicians, of course, who are ALWAYS more equal than the rest of us.
