My guess is that it’s because the drive-by media only holds conservatives to any standard. The ‘rats laughingly claim no standard and are held to none. Morality is relative to the left, all that matters is, is it effective? These days, it doesn’t even matter if they get caught, as long as they haven’t hurt the cause. Then they’re thrown under the bus and swept into the historical black hole. Like Robert Byrd, “what is the meaning of is”, etc.
