” - - - Clinton told reporters that when Susan Rice, U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, made her rounds on every Sunday morning news show to claim the film motivated the attacks, the information had been fed to her by the White House and not the intelligence community in the State Department or the CIA.”

If Hilly wants to be believed, she had better say this under oath to a US House Committee.

Hillbilly tweeted about it on Sept. 11th using the Cairo embassy Twitter account. (You might recall Romney condemning it and the press going crazy on him.) AFAIK the Cairo embassy tweets were the first instance of an apology for the "video."

Senior administration official: The Cairo embassy’s statement does not reflect the view of the U.S. government; Update: Romney calls embassy statement “disgraceful”

The White House is disavowing a statement from their own Cairo embassy that apologized for anti-Muslim activity in the United States.

“The statement by Embassy Cairo was not cleared by Washington and does not reflect the views of the United States government,” a senior administration official told POLITICO…

“Some have sought to justify this vicious behavior as a response to inflammatory material posted on the Internet. The United States deplores any intentional effort to denigrate the religious beliefs of others. Our commitment to religious tolerance goes back to the very beginning of our nation. But let me be clear: There is never any justification for violent acts of this kind,” Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said in a Tuesday statement.

They’re going to muddy the waters so much that the legacy media will just throw up their hands and walk away.

Watergate was complicated too, but back then Walter Cronkite had the time to show all kinds of charts, with pictures of the faces of the players and arrows connecting one to the other while Chris Plante (or whoever it was) explained everything step by step.

Today, I’m guessing we’ll be too short on time to go into that much detail.

Ehhhhh.....tomorrow she’ll announce that she’s responsible for tying her own shoes. The press will have to think that over for a week. Everybody already knows that Hillary is responsible for the security at the embassies. She didn’t take responsibility for those four dead Americans. That’s what she needs to do. As well as taking responsibility for those missing Libyan missiles. All she did today was read her job description out loud.

I look for obama to order massive bomb strikes against Libya any day now, to be followed by ground troops. A diversion he needs to get some of what he thinks will make the voters want to vote for him.

.... Considering all of this this actually may forced into coverage by the MSM and actually making it into the real news cycle .... my guess is that the mighty "O" will activate whatever "October Surprises" he has left to knock this stuff off or even to prevent it from making the headlines and thus give them something much more interesting and palatable for his adoring MSM than political intrigue involving the Whitehouse.

He needs something to draw the attention away from his horrid administration and divert it towards the Republicans and their nominee. The sooner .... the better for him and his faltering campaign.

This article was prescient when it was published, but it’s all become yet more confusing with Hillary accepting full responsibility for the security portion of this fiasco tonight. Who has a fresh take on all this in light of Hillary having thrown herself on the sword?
